I am desperatly trying to seek help for my two daughters. I am breaking the cycle for them of domestic violance. The physical has stopped but the emotional and verbal has increased dramatically. I can no longer protect my teenage daughters from this. My youngest at 13 is becoming depressed and constantly trying to protect me and my oldest stays busy with friends to avoid it. I have finally reached the decision to leave.I work full time for our local school board, so I have enough financial stability to make it once we're out. Unfortunatly my credit has been ruined due to the control of my marriage. He has constant control of the finances and made sure that any credit with my name couldn't get paid( one thing to work on when I get out). Due to this and not having the ability to save money back I have no money for first, last, and security on a home or apartment. My children also have life long pets that to give them up to be able to go to a government assisted apartment would destroy them. All I need is approximately two thousand dollars to move out and get utilities set up. I know that somewhere out there, there has to be someone that might be able to help us. I am not asking for a hand out. I am merely asking for a loan, grant or whatever possible to break this cycle for my children. If anyone has any suggestions or can possibly help us.
